Our Biking days have been long gone over. Today I came home to a pleasant suprise a good friend of ours has an AMAZING Harley and Jono had called and asked to borrow it for the afternoon!!!!! Probably the best gift/date ever. It was our first time away from Brinn since he has been back and it was MUCH needed. Al and Nik watched peanut and off we went on this...
Doesn't get much better than that (Kendra stop drooling).
Today reminded me of the days when Jono and I were dating. He loved riding with me because I loved it and I never complained. Even when my butt was so numb and hurt so bad I still wanted to go. It is one of the most peaceful things I've ever experienced. Just out on the road the sunshine you and your man, doesn't get much better than that. All of the long days and nights away from each other was all made up today. Makes it all so worth it.
These past two weeks has been challenging we definitely needed some us time alone out on the road. I would definitely get another one of these some day and we talk about it all the time. I can't wait till I can break out my HD leather vest ;) The sposter is what I said Yes to definitely not just the ring (wink).
However, I do have some musts to ridin'.
1. Have to have Oakley's no questions.
2. Black shirt... preferably jeans but too hot today and Yes you can wear shorts I do all the time!
3. Your man has to have holes somewhere in his jeans.
4. Best way for your hair I've found is a braid or high pony.
5. Flip flops not advised. Too hot today :(
6. BLAcK BLACK BLACK I always wear BLACK.
7. Never take the interstate always the back roads... my favorite.
8. Always stop for gas and a pop... best hydration.
9. Downtown at night is the most romantic feeling.
10. Hold him tight and don't let him go.
TMI but Jono's cute meter goes up like 10 speeds when he is on one... for real :)

We were going to ask Duane to borrow his HD today, then we realized it was his birthday, so we just stuck to telling him Happy Birthday :P hahahahaa, he lets us take er out....its tempting to never bring it back. shhh, don't tell.
All in all, I'm totally jealous. And whenever Beau and I dream of having one someday after he TOO sold his bike, we can't ever justify a bike before our adoption :( so the HD days of our own are far far away..........
Agreeeed. I am jealous as well. I've been begging Billy to get a bike but we just can't do it considering we just bought a house and have a lot of work to do on it. Lucky girl, I bet you had fun for the day!
