Last Day. WOW.

So today was my last day student teaching. Bitter Sweet for sure. I always get so attached to my classes and most of all the teacher :) Mrs. Osby was my cooperating teacher/ friend for the last 8 weeks. She made it a lot easier to get up each day early leave my baby girl and come to school... ya know to get that piece of paper I get to get on Friday at 3pm.

Can't wait.

So, I stayed up extra late last night which I call pure exhaustion Jono calls it passion! I made some little goodies for the kiddos and also we had the fake field trip to a coffee shop which they so did not earn and Mrs. Sage so gave it to them because I'm so way too easy on them.

Today was just a fun day! That's the beauty of teaching when you just need a good fun good for the soul day you can. We totally did that today, minus our little test in the morning. We did a little readers theatre presentations and ended our day with a little Par-tay. Or as Karisma calls it a hot up in here mess.

Brinn visited in the morning which was FUN! Kiddos loved her and she them. She showed them her mad iPad skills... which rock by the way.

Within all that jumble it was just a good day, I definitely picked the right profession.

I will be a Kindergarten teacher next year! You always dream of the day you get your own classroom, your own class, well I get mine in August! Pretty excited about that one. It took a lot of prayer to figure out where God wanted me next year... home or at school, he definitely made it very clear that my place is Southeast Elementary!!!!!!!!!!!! Which if I could pick a dream job would be Kindergarten, Southeast teaching for Dr. Matt Adams coolest Principal I've ever met.

Anyway enough chatter platter here was our day!

OWL miss you :) Brinn's Idea!

P.S. I started a new blog inspired by Cynthia Rylant... coming soon :)  It will be a teaching Blog for my Kindergarten Class!

  2. Hey, Southeast Elementary is right by our house! And we know Matt Adams - he used to be a teacher at our hometown school! :)
