I don’t want a lot for Christmas. I usually know exactly what I want and this year has been different. I just really couldn’t find one thing that I wanted. I wanted something bigger than a pair of shoes or new jeans. I really just wanted my husband to be home. Ya know they say the first year of marriage is the hardest, I will probably have to say, yes that is true.
All I want for Christmas is to see my husband walk back through that door. To have him hold Brinn and I again. I just want him all to myself. I want to see his face when Brinn opens the present that he got her. I want to see his face first thing Christmas morning. I want to go to Christmas service with him by my side. I want to have our own little family Christmas in our little home together as a family. However, that’s not possible so we’re making the best of it. Brinn and I decided to stay at ‘Nana’ and ‘Papa’s’ good choice. I got to sleep in for the first time in a year
It’s so nice to be surrounded by people who love all three of us.

On a happier note!!!!
We were able to go watch Aunt Amanda Sing at Hope North Branch in Ankeny! She has such a beautiful voice we love to go and watch her. Her dad Mark is the worship leader at Hope and has a pretty awesome voice too! They sang some of my favorites! So here are some pictures from church last night!
